Thursday’s virtual conference schedule kicks off with the annual mandatory AHSAA Medical Advisory Board Update from 8 to 8:50 a.m. Dr. James Robinson, a renowned community health specialist and the University of Alabama football team physician from Tuscaloosa, will address administrators discussing best health practices in today’s climate.

Friday’s final day include the mandatory AHSAA Update – beginning at 8 a.m., with an update from Dr. Eric Mackey, Superintendent of the Alabama State Department of Education, and followed at 8:30 a.m., with an update from AHSAA Executive Director Steve Savarese and the AHSAA staff. The virtual conference will conclude at 10:45 a.m., conducted by Opelika High School principal Farrell Seymore and Crenshaw County Schools Superintendent Dodd Hawthorne discussing “Best Practices for Fall Contests in Today’s World.”
