Congratulations to Jamari Blackmon who was chosen as the Hoover Clinic Athlete of the month! Jamari is a Sophomore athlete at Hoover High School. He is a member of the Bucs Varsity Basketball team and was recognized for “Outstanding Character” at The Finley Awards. His favorite team is the Golden State Warriors, favorite subject in school is history, and favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13. Congratulations to Willie Williams who was chosen as the Oak Grove Clinic Athlete of the Month! Willie is a senior at Oak Grove high school. He is a member of the warriors basketball team and has played on the varsity team for 2 years now. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award for OGHS and you can find him on the court wearing the jersey number 12. Willie has a 2.9 GPA and plans to attend college for computer science. Congratulations to the Decatur Clinic Athlete of the Month, Marcus Webb! Marcus is a senior football player at Austin High School. He is a 2 year starter at Defensive End for the Black Bears and has amassed 56 tackles with only 8 tackles for a loss. After graduation, marcus plans on attending Troy University where he has received a football scholarship.

Congratulations to Charlie James who has been chosen as the Columbia Clinic Athlete of the Month! Charlie is a multi-sport, Junior, athlete at Columbia High School. He has played on the varsity basketball, football, and baseball teams for 4 years now. You can find him wearing the jersey numbers 10 and 26. He has a 3.5 GPA and plans to go to Mississippi State University after graduation to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine. Charlie is the son of Charlie and Belfry James.
