Meet Maddie Wilson, the newest member of the Encore Rehabilitation family!


Maddie graduated from the PTA program at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and is originally from Gautier, Mississippi.

Maddie tells us, “I became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant because of a lifelong interest in anatomy, a love and appreciation for exercise, and a desire to help people improve their quality of life.”

Encore Rehabilitation – Gulfport Downtown welcomes our new Physical Therapy Assistant KRISTEN LINARES!

Kristin earned an Associates of Arts Degree from Jones County Community College before completing her Associates of Applied Science Degree Physical Therapist Assistant from Pearl River Community College.

While in PTA school, she completed her clinical rotation at Encore Rehab in Petal, MS and says, “I fell in love with the employees and the entire company as a whole.”

Now coming to work for Encore Rehabilitation – Gulfport Downtown, Kristen states, “I have had so much fun meeting new people and experiencing a new place. This Gulfport Downtown Clinic has been so welcoming and I love the atmosphere and the patients. I love it more and more everyday and can’t wait to provide excellent patient care for all of these amazing people!!! Thank you so much Encore for this opportunity. I look forward to making a difference and growing with the company!”

Kristen is energetic and full of positive vibes. She is a very hard worker and loves what she does. The patients have welcomed her with open arms and we are SO proud to have her with Encore!

Carley shares, “I chose to become a Physical Therapist Assistant because I love to see the progress each patient makes from start to finish.  Being a part of the reason why someone is able to be more functional with day-to-day tasks in a safe and efficient manner is very rewarding, and that is why I love and enjoy what I do!”

Chelsea received her Applied Science in Physical Therapy from Wallace State Community College. She is also a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. Her favorite thing about being a Therapist is seeing her patients make progress. Chelsea says, “I love working for Encore Rehabilitation due to the way they care about their patients, athletes, and employees.”

Kimmie received her Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant degree from South University. She has three years of experience in Physical Therapy. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University and played softball  while attending Central Alabama Community College.

In her free time, Kimmie and her fiancé, Derick, enjoy hunting, fishing, fitness, and exercising.
