Luke Yarbrough is Athlete of the Month for Fairview High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman

Congratulations to Luke Yarbrough for being selected February Athlete of the Month for Fairview High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Luke is a Senior with plans to pursue a degree at Wallace State Community College and then Athens State University in the field of Education, specifically working with special needs students. During his time at Fairview, he has played Basketball and Baseball for the Aggies. Luke has been named All-County and All-Area. He has also received the 1,000 point ball. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and family.

Luke is the son of Wesley and Christi Yarbrough.

Makayla is a Senior at West Point and plays Softball. She will continue playing Softball at Snead State Community College in pursuit of a degree in Secondary Education. During her time as a Warrior, she has been selected All-County three years and All-Area two years. Makayla holds the career homerun record at West Point. In travel ball, she was a National qualifier for two years. Her personal interests include hanging out with friends, playing travel ball, and traveling for softball.

Makayla is the daughter of Mike and Rhonda Brown.

Ellie is attends East Samford School where she competes in soccer and track. She recently suffered a sprained ankle. This is the third time she has done this and she really wanted to learn how to avoid it and strengthen her ankles. Therapists Daniel and Keena did just that!!! Ellie is back at soccer and feeling great!!!

We are pleased to announce Cade Abernathy as our Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Athens!

Cade is a Senior at Athens Bible School where he competes in Baseball and Basketball. He has been selected Decatur Daily 1A-4A 1st Team; All-State 1A First Team Catcher; and North-South All-Star. He also holds the school record with a .533 batting average. His hobbies include playing video games, baseball, and hanging out with friends. His future plans include attending the University of Alabama in Huntsville and obtaining an Aerospace Engineering degree.

Cade is the son of Jason and Holly Abernathy.

Caleb is a Junior at Saint Bernard and competes in Basketball, Track, and Cross Country for the Saints. He has been selected All-State Track 2 years and All-State Cross Country 1 year. He is the 1A State Champion in 800 meter and 3,200 meter as well as 1A State Runner-up in the 3,200 meter. He plans to pursue a college degree in Business and continue with his running.

Caleb is the son of Daniel Guthery and Chanda Dabbs.

Congratulations to Rylan Jones, the February Athlete of the Month for West Point High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Rylan is a Senior and multi-sport athlete at West Point. He has competed in Football three years, Basketball three years, and Baseball four years. He has been selected All-Tournament Basketball two years, All-County Football two years, and Second Team All-Area Basketball. He has also received the Joe Schults Award. His personal interests include fishing, hunting, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. His future plans include obtaining a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Wallace State Community College and then furthering his education to become a Physical Therapist. (We think it is a GREAT career choice!)

Rylan is the son of Randy and Regina Jones.
