Zoey is a multi-sport athlete, competing in Track & Field, Gymnastics, as well as Ballet, Jazz and Modern Tap. She has earned a Gold Medal in Gymnastics and Track & Field. She has also performed with Alabama Ballet. She is a student with Everest Academy. Zoey enjoys art, drawing, graphic design, piano, voice, acting, and video games. Her future plans include attending the Alabama School of Fine Arts and continuing with Dance in college.

Zoey is the daughter of Jamie “Jam” Morginn and William Jenkins, Jr.

I informed the staff at Encore Rehabilitation-Priceville that I not only wanted to be able to walk by September 12th (my grandson’s wedding) but would also like to dance! Physical Therapist Dr. Justin Byrd told me that it was an ambitious goal and would take commitment on my part as well. I am grateful to say we reached our goal and I did dance at the wedding! Courtney is a Dance Instructor who enjoys traveling, long walks in Target, and drinking coffee. She chose DCH Encore Tuscaloosa South as her rehab provider because of a personal association with Clinic Director Juli Hart, DPT. Courtney says, “Once I started doing therapy with Julie and her staff, I would never want to be anywhere else. DCH Encore is fantastic!”

Harleigh LaFontaine – Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Diamondhead

Congratulations to Harleigh LaFontaine, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Diamondhead! Harleigh is a Junior at Hancock High School where she has played varsity sports for three years. She participates in Volleyball (#3), Softball, and Dance and has been selected as Most Athletic for the Class of 2019.

After graduation, Harleigh plans to attend the University of Mississippi and become a Pediatrician. She is the daughter of Herbie and Marlena LaFontaine.

Patient of the Month, Ally Iachino!

Congratulations to Ally Iachino who was chosen as the Patient of the Month at our Ocean Springs Spine and Orthopedic clinic. Ally lives in Ocean Springs, MS and has been coming to us for Physical Therapy after suffering from a high ankle sprain while competing in a national dance competition. Her dream job of dancing professionally at Disney World seemed to be something that she may not be able to do with the show starting in October. However, through the personalized physical therapy program we created for her, she is now a stronger dancer and says she feels very confident to start her dream job. We are proud of you for following your dreams, Ally, and we’re cheering for you the whole way!
