Raye-Anne brings a wealth of experience and expertise as an Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer for the past 7 years. She is currently serving at Opp High School. Her dedication and passion for athletic training make her an invaluable asset to our community.

With a solid educational background, Raye-Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Training from Murray State University, and a master’s degree in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay State University. Her commitment to continuous learning and development ensures that she stays at the forefront of her field.

Beyond her professional achievements, Raye-Anne’s personal interests include reading, spending quality time with family and friends, and cheering on her favorite sports teams!

Walking again after knee surgery and Physical Therapy at #EncoreRehab Pelham

“In November, I had a total knee replacement. Following surgery, I started Physical Therapy with Encore Rehabilitation-Pelham, which is conveniently located upstairs from my doctor. Meet Athlete of the Month Edwin Vela with #EncoreRehab Russellville

Meet Edwin Vela, our Encore Rehabilitation – Russellville, Athlete of the Month!

Edwin is a Senior at Tharptown High School where he competes in Basketball, Soccer, and Cross Country! Edwin was named the 2021-2022 Most Improved in Basketball, 2022-2023 Wildcat Award for Basketball, 2022-2023 Cross Country Runner of the Year as well as being named to the All Section Team for the last three years for Cross Country! Edwin not only excels in athletics but also in the classroom where he has maintained a 4.0 GPA!

We asked Edwin what hobbies he enjoyed and he replied, “I just love learning new things!”

,Edwin plans on going the Junior College route to become an electrician or a Physical Therapy Assistant after high school graduation! Edwin we know you will be successful whichever direction you decide and we wish you much success in your future! #EncoreRehab Booth Winners at AHSAA State Basketball Finals

Thank you to everyone who came by the Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. booth at the AHSAA Basketball State Finals last week in Birmingham, Alabama. We enjoyed talking with the hundreds of adults that registered for our door prize. We meet individuals from all over the state of Alabama that came out to support the athletes, coaches, and schools participating in the finals. 

Door Prize winner was Ms. Hollie Nix! She was selected as our winner for the Stanley cup, wireless speaker, and Encore swag! 

And we appreciated all the athletes, young and old, that took time to shoot hoops with us! Our final record for most points scored was 93 points in 70 seconds! 🏀

We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the AHSAA State Finals! 😎

Join us in congratulating Occupational Therapist Kaitlyn Hodge on becoming a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS)!

Her new certification includes comprehensive hands-on training with the complexities of stroke rehab. She has received in-depth training on effectively and safely helping patients recover from strokes to achieve their best quality of life. Kaitlyn has a passion for helping patients and their families that have experienced neurological conditions.
