“I have been battling cancer for over 5 years and have had it in my bones. I fractured my left femur in a fall in 2019 and had a rod put in, but fell again in June of 2020 and fractured myself again as well as breaking the metal rod, probably related to the prior bone cancer radiation. At UAB, where the second surgery was done to remove all original hardware and replace it with new and stronger hardware, they recommended inpatient rehab and extensive physical therapy. I chose not to go to inpatient rehab mainly due to COVID-19, but asked for Physical Therapy in Dothan. UAB set me up with highly-rated outpatient facility in Dothan, Encore Rehabilitation – Dothan​, and they’re wonderful!
