Li’O is a Senior at Reeltown High where he plays Football as a Defensive End for the Rebels. In his free time, he enjoys riding his four-wheeler and hanging out with his friends.

In celebration of National Athletic Training Month, we’d like to introduce your Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer Scarlett Hackett!

Scarlett says, “I became an Athletic Trainer because I knew I wanted to work with athletes ever since I was the water-girl for my high school football team. I also always knew I wanted to be a high school Athletic Trainer. The best thing about being an Athletic Trainer? I like helping athletes process injuries, taping, and ALWAYS having the best seat on the sidelines!”

Scarlett is a graduate of The University of Alabama and is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Her husband, Ray, is a coach at Geneva County High School. Together they have four children.

Thank you, Scarlett, for all you do! We wish you a GREAT National Athletic Training Month!

We are happy to announce Kierra Merriweather is the Athlete of the Month for Hanceville High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Senior Kierra competes in Basketball, Volleyball, and Track for the Bulldogs. She has been selected for several honors including: All-Tournament; All-County; Charlotte Cummings Memorial Scholarship; Bulldog Hustle Award; Bulldog Hustle Award All-Area; and earned State 2nd Place in Track. Her future plans include becoming a traveling nurse. She enjoys spending her free time running and being with family.

Kierra is the daughter of John and Jennifer Merriweather.

Congratulations to Anna Murph, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Eufaula!

Junior Anna competes in Volleyball, Basketball, and Tennis for The Lakeside Chiefs. She has been awarded Volleyball Defensive Player-2018, Basketball Defensive Player-2018, Glenwood Invitational Volleyball Tournament All-Tournament Team-2017, and Shoemaker Bradford Basketball Tournament MVP-2018. In her free time, she enjoys being involved in her church youth activities, playing board games, and hanging out with friends. Her future plans include attending college to major in Medicine.

Anna is the daughter of Brad and Traci Murph.

We are pleased to announce Miriam Oldacre is the Athlete of the Month for West Point High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman for January 2019!

Miriam is a Junior at West Point where she excels in Basketball. She has been selected All-Area for three years, All-County for two years, and All-County Tournament Team for three years. After high school, she would like to attend Jacksonville State and major in Business. In her free time, she enjoys singing, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

Miriam is the daughter of Michael and Deborah Oldacre.

Cole is a Junior and competes in Basketball and Track for the Raiders. He has been named All-County and All-Area as well as State Honorable Mention. Congratulations to Kaniya Hill, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Eufaula!

As a senior, Kaniya has competed for the Eufaula Tigers Basketball team for the last four years. She has been awarded the Best Defensive player for the Tigers for the 2016-2017 season as well as the 2017-2018 season. In her spare time, she likes to travel and shop. Her future plans include playing basketball in college while majoring in Sports Management.

Kaniya is the daughter of Henry Hill Jr. and Sherri Mahone.
