Mr. Kimbrell is back to doing the things he LOVES after rehab with #EncoreRehab Winfield!

We are proud to have Harvey Kimbrell as our Encore Rehabilitation – Winfield Patient of the Month!

Mr. Kimbrell has shown remarkable progress following a recent total knee replacement. He is a dedicated and determined individual and has shown outstanding commitment to his recovery journey. As an older adult, the journey back to full mobility can present unique challenges but he has proven that age is no barrier to recovery!

Total knee replacement is a major procedure, especially for those later in life, but he approached it with a positive attitude and a commitment to working through the rehabilitation process. Mr. Kimbrell is now able to perform his daily activities with greater ease, from walking longer distances to climbing stairs, all while managing far less pain than before the surgery.

Mr. Kimbrell, we are honored to have you as our Patient of the Month and we have enjoyed helping you with your recovery journey!

Meet Walt Hennicke, with Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield! 

Meet Walt Hennicke, our newest Encore Rehabilitation – Winfield employee! 

Walt will be working as a Physical Therapy Aide through the Work Based Learning Program at Winfield City High School. Walt is a Senior at Winfield City High School where he competes in football and baseball. He plans on pursuing a degree in Anesthesiology after high school. 

We are so excited to be a partner with the Winfield City School System and to have Walt Hennicke with us this year!

Chase Moore has successful stroke recovery with Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield

Meet Chris Moore, Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Mr. Moore suffered a stroke in December, where he received inpatient physical therapy before he transitioned to Encore Rehabilitation – Winfield to continue working on his recovery in an outpatient setting.

Mr. Moore states, “Flexibility and strength training along with balance training has really helped me regain a healthy and successful life. My daughter used Encore and I knew through conversations with her that Encore would be thorough, caring and beneficial in my recovery.”

Mr. Moore goes on to state, “They take your health serious at Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield and work hard to get you as close to a 100 percent back to normal as possible.”

With the support of our compassionate team of healthcare professionals, Mr. Moore has regained his strength, balance and independence! He is now able to return to his daily activities and all the things he enjoys!

#EncoreRehab Booth Winners at AHSAA State Basketball Finals

Thank you to everyone who came by the Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. booth at the AHSAA Basketball State Finals last week in Birmingham, Alabama. We enjoyed talking with the hundreds of adults that registered for our door prize. We meet individuals from all over the state of Alabama that came out to support the athletes, coaches, and schools participating in the finals. 

Door Prize winner was Ms. Hollie Nix! She was selected as our winner for the Stanley cup, wireless speaker, and Encore swag! 

And we appreciated all the athletes, young and old, that took time to shoot hoops with us! Our final record for most points scored was 93 points in 70 seconds! 🏀

We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the AHSAA State Finals! 😎

Meet Elizabeth McBrayer, the Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Ms. McBrayer recently underwent shoulder surgery to repair a rotator cuff tear. She required Physical Therapy to improve her range of motion and strength. Ms. McBrayer chose Encore Rehabilitation as her healthcare provider. She shares, “Encore Rehabilitation – Winfield was recommended by many people I spoke to when making my decision!” After completing her rehab, she is now able to enjoy all her favorite activities once again!

Meet Spencer Haney, our Encore Rehabilitation – Winfield, Athlete of the Month!

Spencer is a Junior at Winfield City High School where he competes in football and baseball! Spencer can be seen wearing #3 on the field. Spencer enjoys hunting and fishing when he is not participating in high school sports. He hopes to continue his baseball career after high school while obtaining a degree in engineering.

Spencer is the son of Heather and Dewayne Haney.

Meet Pat McGaha, Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Pat recently was experiencing back pain along with some balance issues. She began Physical Therapy at Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield to regain strength, endurance, balance and coordination in her lower extremities. Pat worked on her flexibility as well to help alleviate her back pain.
