Father-Daughter Patient of the Month and Athlete of the Month Brent and Madison Johnson with #EncoreRehab Geneva

Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva is happy to announce our first Father-Daughter Patient of the Month and Athlete of the Month – Brent and Madison Johnson! 

After tearing his Achilles tendon while coaching basketball, Geneva High School Basketball and Softball Coach Brent Johnson chose Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva to be his Physical Therapy provider. Coach Johnson said, “I chose Encore because of a recommendation by our Athletic Trainer, Todd Killingsworth. Also my daughter attended therapy at Encore to rehab her shoulder after an injury.” Now Coach Johnson is back to doing all the things he loves!
Congratulations, Coach Johnson, on your successful rehab! Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva is proud to select you as our Patient of the Month!
Say hello to Madison Johnson, our newest Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Geneva!
Madison is a Sophomore and multi-sport athlete who competes in Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball for the Geneva Panthers. She has been named in the Super 12 for volleyball and basketball and also an honorable mention. She enjoys playing sports, shooting guns, and going to the lake with her family and friends. Her future plans includes possibly becoming a Physical Therapist.
Madison is the daughter of Brent and Jomanda Johnson.

Joshua is a Junior at Auburn University at Montgomery. He competes in Cross Country and Track for the Warhawks. Recently he has earned a scholarship for Track at AUM and we are very proud of him!

Eli Young – A Remarkable Young Man at Encore Rehabilitation-Fayetteville

After football season last fall, Eli Young started rehabilitation on his knee with Encore Rehabilitation-Fayetteville. By the time his primary sport, soccer, came into season, he was ready to go! An ankle injury at the first soccer practice left him on the sideline. Just as he was released to play again, the COVID 19 pandemic brought all high school sports to halt. As a Senior at Fayetteville High School, it was less than an ideal way for his high school sports career to end. Fortunately for Eli, his ankle is better and he has found a new interest, Physical Therapy!

“When I started rehab with Sarah at Encore, I didn’t know that I would enjoy therapy as much as I did. It helped me so much that I wanted to learn more about the profession. It’s definitely an option for my future career,” says Eli.

Eli has job-shadowed Clinic Director Sarah Suddarth for several months now, learning all he can about Physical Therapy. Eli has proven himself to be a responsible, caring young man. We are very proud of him and consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to know him as a patient, athlete, and friend. As he enters school this fall at The University of Tennessee, we want to wish him every success and happiness!

Encore Rehabilitation-Fayette would like to recognize Eli Young as Patient of the Month and Athlete of the Month!  This young man is so remarkable, one honor just isn’t enough!

Her post-graduation plans are to pursue a Pharmactueical   degree at Auburn University.

He has been selected 3A First Team All-State Baseball; All-Journal Record Baseball; All-WAC B-Team Basketball; and All-County B-Team Basketball. Brody plans to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level. In his personal time, he enjoys baseball, golfing, basketball, and video games.
