Meet Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist Krystal Lytle!

Welcome to Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist Krystal Lytle with #EncoreRehab Tillman's Corner and West Mobile

Encore Rehabilitation would like you to meet Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist Krystal Lytle!

Krystal received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of South Alabama. She also received her Bachelors from the University of South Alabama in Preprofessional Health Sciences.  She is has a certification in Dry Needling granted by The Spinal Manipulation Institute.

Krystal has an extensive background of working with neuromusculoskeletal upper extremity patients. She  and has earned and is recognized by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

Krystal is currently accepting new patients at Encore Rehabilitation-Tillman’s Corner and the newly opened Encore Rehabilitation-West Mobile clinics.

We are excited to have Krystal and her expertise at Encore!

Congratulations to Destiny Powe, Athlete of the Month for Good Hope High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Destiny is a Senior at Good Hope and competes in Cheerleading for the Raiders. She has twice been selected both All-Amercan Cheerleader and Cheer Captain. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is looking forward to pursuing an Occupational Therapy degree at Wallace State after high School.

Destiny is the daughter of Brian and Alicia Powe.

Meet Occupational Therapist Whitney Walker!

Whitney Walker is an Occupational Therapist at #EncoreRehab at Stone County Hospital Outpatient Rehab Clinic

Encore Rehabilitation at Stone County Hospital Outpatient Rehab Clinic would like you to meet Occupational Therapist Whitney Walker!

Whitney began her professional career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She then obtained a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University to become an Occupational Therapist. Whitney has provided rehabilitation at Stone County Hospital and it’s adjoining/sister facilities for over 14 years. She has been a practicing Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for over five years.

Whitney’s caring extends beyond her patients to her family and friends. Whitney and her husband, Cody, have three children.

We appreciate Whitney’s dedication to her patients and the community. We are very proud to have you on the Encore Rehabilitation Team, Whitney!

In observance of National Prematurity Awareness Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman would like to honor our patients and families affected by preterm births!

Meet Kylan! He was born at 27 weeks gestation but is currently 3 years old. He receives Occupational and Speech Therapy Services. His favorite toys and activities include: his building blocks; jumping; signing “ I love you”; playing catch; peek-a-boo; dancing; playing games on his tablet; and giving hugs and kisses.

Kylan’s family says, “Since Kylan started therapy, he has grown and improved! I’m happy with the services he receives from Encore Rehab. He is always so excited when it’s his turn for therapy! We love the staff here!”

Meet Jayden! He was born 23 weeks gestation and is currently 3 years old. He receives Occupational and Speech Therapy Services from Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman. He recently graduated from Physical Therapy and we are very proud of him! Jayden loves Mickey Mouse, toy cars, learning his letters, and dancing to music!

In observance of National Prematurity Awareness Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman would like to honor our patients and families affected by preterm births!

Let’s meet Elijah and Tevis Singleton! They were born at 29 weeks gestation and are now 1 year old! They both receive Occupational and Physical Therapy Services with Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman.

Elijah loves trains and dinosaurs. He is laid back and chill. He loves to run in his walker. And anytime music plays, he loves to dance.

Tevis loves her blanket and any toys she can clap together or that make lots of noises. She loves to crawl and pull up on everything! She’s talkative and sassy.

The Singleton family says, “Both have really started to catch up to their actual age. The Encore Therapists are great about teaching you things you can work on at home to help their progression.’”

We are so proud of the progress of Elijah and Tevia! Happy National Prematurity Awareness Month to them and their family!

Happy National Prematurity Awareness Month to Noah Wilson with #EncoreRehab - Cullman!

In observance of National Prematurity Awareness Month, Encore Rehabilitation – Cullman would like to honor our pediatric patients and families affected by preterm births.

Meet Noah Wilson! He was born at 24 weeks gestation and is currently 5 years old. He receives Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy Services at Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman. He loves playing with musical toys. And he enjoys watching his favorite shows including Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol, and PJ Masks.

Noah’s family shares, “We are beyond blessed to have found Encore Rehabilitation. The therapists have become more like family. We can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for our sweet Noah!”

Larry Cade -Getting Better Every Day!

Larry Cade is Occupational Therapy Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Bessemer West #EncoreRehab

Encore Rehabilitation-Bessemer West is proud to have Larry Cade as the Occupational Therapy Patient of the Month!

Mr. Cade came to Encore following a stroke. He says, “I like the therapists and I have gotten better at walking and talking.”

Mr. Cade has been a pleasure to work with and always keeps us smiling. He has made good progress with his walking, balance, handwriting, and speech. We have had fun with creating unique and engaging exercises for him, including playing darts, building things, and maneuvering obstacle courses.
