Macey, a Sophomore, is a multi-sport athlete for the Bulldogs. She participates in Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track. She has been named All-County in Basketball.

Macey is the daughter of Danny and Lori Butler.

We are proud to present Cole Maddox as Athlete of the Month for Good Hope High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Cole is a Sophomore at Good Hope where he plays Basketball (#2) for the Raiders. He was named JV All-County last year. When he graduates, Cole wants to continue playing Basketball on the college-level and eventually pursue a career in Coaching. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games. Cole is the son of Jeremy and Debbie Maddox.

Congratulations to the East Central Athlete of the Month, Eric Saksa!

Eric is a sophomore athlete at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi. He is on the Wildcats Varsity Baseball team and wears jersey #14. He has a 3.5 GPA and is majoring in Pre-medical sciences. He is the son of Mike and Tonya Saksa. Good luck during baseball season, Eric! Go Wildcats!

Congratulations to the Fairfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Jaylon Finley! Jaylon is a sophomore athlete at Fairfield high school. She has been a member of the varsity cheerleading team since 6th grade and will graduate in 2019. After high school, Jaylon plans to attend college to major in Dental Hygiene or Criminal justice. She is the daughter of Kieawonna Dortch. Keep up the good work Jaylon!

Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Julia Taylor.

Congratulations to the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Julia Taylor! Julia is a multi-sport, sophomore athlete at Winfield High School. She has been on the Varsity Track and Cheerleading teams for 3 years now. Julia, along with the Lady Pirates Cheerleading team, has won a 3A State Championship, Regional championship, placed 8th in Nationals, 3rd in Worlds, and Julia has also received the All-County Track Award. After she graduates in 2019, Julia plans to attend college to major in education. She is the daughter of Neil and Paige Taylor. Keep up the good work Julia!

Arab Encore Athlete of the Month, Benjamin Clark.

Congratulations to the Arab Encore Athlete of the Month, Benjamin Clark! Ben is a multi- sport, sophomore, athlete at Brindlee Mountain High School. He has played on the Varsity Baseball and Football teams for 3 and 2 years respectively and wears jerseys #5 and #72. He has won the All-County Football award and the Gavin Brooks Award. Benjamin is the son of Johnny and Kim Clark.

Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Karringten Perkins.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Karringten Perkins! Karringten is a sophomore, multi-sport athlete at Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi. She is a member of the Lady Hawks Volleyball, Golf, and Basketball teams and wears jersey #1. Her varsity sports awards consist of the Volleyball Player of the Week for Sea Coast Echo and MaxPreps, and All-Around Player for the Pass Christian Basketball Tournament. After graduation, Karringten plans to attend Mississippi State and major in Dermatology. She is the daughter of April and Tony Perkins.

Congratulations to the Hamilton Encore Athletes of the Month, Brady Stults and Cole Reed! Both students are multi-sport athlete from Hamilton High School.

Brady Stults is a Junior with a 4.1 GPA. She has played Varsity Softball and Basketball for 5 and 3 years respectively. A few of her sports awards consist of All-Area softball 2014, 2014-2015 Basketball Defensive Player, 2014-2015 Hustle award in Basketball, All WAC Basketball 2015-2016, and 2012-2013 All-County Softball. After she graduates high school, she plans to attend a 4 year university and major in the medical field. Brady is the daughter of Joey and Lisa Stults.

Cole Reed is a Sophomore with a 4.2 GPA. He has been a member of the Varsity Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Track teams for a year and a half now. He wears jersey number 9 in Football and Baseball, and number 23 in Basketball. His sports awards consist of the All WAC, All-County, and the Times Daily 4A-7A Big Play Award in Football. After graduation, he plans to attend college to major in engineering. Cole is the son of Mike and Michelle Reed.

Congratulations to Centreville Encore Athlete of the Month, Jaden Marchant! Jordan is a sophomore athlete at West Blocton High School. He has played on the Varsity Football team for 2 years now and wears jersey number 61. After he graduates high school, he plans to attend the University of Alabama to major in Civil Engineering. Jaden is the son of Michael and Carol Marchant.

Hayden Encore Athletes of the Month, Brantly Bonds and Sam Knowlton.

Congratulations to the Hayden Encore Athletes of the Month, Brantly Bonds and Sam Knowlton! Both Brantly and Sam are multi-sport athletes from Corner High School in Dora, AL.

Brantly Bonds is a freshman and has been a member of the Lady Yellow Jackets Basketball and Softball teams for 1 year. She wears the jersey #3 in basketball and jersey #8 in softball. Brantly has a 4.0 GPA and plans to play college softball while pursuing a degree in Orthodontics. She is the daughter of Brandon and Kim Bonds.

Sam Knowlton is a Sophomore and has played Varsity Basketball and Baseball for 2 years now. You can find him on the court wearing jersey #14 this season. Sam has a 4.17 GPA and plans to pursue a college degree in Pharmacy after high school. He is the son of Will and Jennifer Knowlton.
