In celebration of National Athletic Training Month, we’d like to introduce your Encore Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer Scarlett Hackett!

Scarlett says, “I became an Athletic Trainer because I knew I wanted to work with athletes ever since I was the water-girl for my high school football team. I also always knew I wanted to be a high school Athletic Trainer. The best thing about being an Athletic Trainer? I like helping athletes process injuries, taping, and ALWAYS having the best seat on the sidelines!”

Scarlett is a graduate of The University of Alabama and is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Her husband, Ray, is a coach at Geneva County High School. Together they have four children.

Congratulations to Brooks Rayburn, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Diamondhead!

Brooks plays Football for the Hancock High School Hawks. He has been selected All-District First Team 3 years; Bernard Blackwell North-South All-Star Team; All-Sun Herald 2 years; and All-Sea Coast Echo 3 years. He future plans are to attend Nicholls State University on a Football scholarship and pursue a degree in Kinesiology.

Brooks is the son of Stu and Karla Rayburn.

Crystal is a native of Enterprise and has been a part of the Encore Rehabilitation Team for 18 years. She has been a Clinical for ten years. She received her Associates of Science from Enterprise State Junior College and an Associates of Applied Science from Pensacola State College. She and her husband, Ford, have two children and one grandchild. In her free time, Crystal enjoys sailing and traveling. She in involved with the Fairhope Yacht Club and volunteers with High Hopes for Autism.

We are happy to announce Kierra Merriweather is the Athlete of the Month for Hanceville High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Senior Kierra competes in Basketball, Volleyball, and Track for the Bulldogs. She has been selected for several honors including: All-Tournament; All-County; Charlotte Cummings Memorial Scholarship; Bulldog Hustle Award; Bulldog Hustle Award All-Area; and earned State 2nd Place in Track. Her future plans include becoming a traveling nurse. She enjoys spending her free time running and being with family.

Kierra is the daughter of John and Jennifer Merriweather.

Prattville Christian Academy Benefit Dinner

Prattville Christian Academy Benefit Dinner 2019 #encoreRehab Encore Rehabilitation-Prattville was proud to participate in The Prattville Christian Academy (PCA) Benefit dinner recently. The annual dinner hosted by PCA to raise funds for the school. This year’s proceeds will go towards purchasing a bus to transport students around campus and to extracurricular activities.

The dinner was served by PCA’s own Student Ambassadors. After dinner, other PCA students performed Disney’s Mulan for attendees and guests.

After high school, she would like to attend Jacksonville State and major in Business. In her free time, she enjoys singing, hanging out with friends, and traveling.
