Meet Christopher Ford, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!
Christopher is Senior at Winfield High School where he competes in Football and Basketball. He enjoys playing football and basketball as well as working out in his spare time. Christopher plans to attend Wallace State to pursue a degree in home construction and real estate upon graduation.

Encore Rehabilitation is pleased to welcome Scott Thames PT, DPT, to the Rehab Team at Encore Rehabilitation-MGCCC Perk Campus!
Scott is a native of Wiggins, Mississippi. After graduating from Stone County High School, he began his college journey at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. After graduation, he attended the University of Mississippi for his Bachelors Degree and continued on to the University of South Alabama to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Scott’s personal interests include exercising, playing pick-up basketball, walking his dog, going to live sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
Scott tells us, “Being able to come back and work as a Physical Therapist on the MGCCC campus is a dream come true! I began my college journey on this campus and to now be working here is still somewhat surreal. Athletics and my community are two particular areas that I am extremely passionate about. This job allows me to care for and cultivate relationships with both. I’m thankful for the opportunity to join the Encore Rehabilitation-MGCCC Sports Medicine Team and excited to get started!”

Tina has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 27 years. She has provided care with Encore Rehabilitation for 17 years both as a Physical Therapist and Clinic Director. Throughout her career, she has worked with a large range of diagnoses and patients of all ages. She is McKenzie trained as well as Certified in Dry Needling.
Tina resides in Orange Beach with her family. She loves camping, hiking, and traveling.

Congratulations to Anisa McKenzie, Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan East!
Ms. McKenzie had a simple labrum tear in 2020 that progressed into the need for rotator cuff repair in 2022. Although she has had many challenges in the last two years, she has kept an amazing positive outlook on her treatment and recovery. She adds, “If I need therapy again, I would definitely choose Encore Rehabilitation-Dothan East!”

Aynelise is a Senior at Haleyville High School where she competes in Volleyball and Tennis while maintaining a 4.56 GPA! She has received the “Most Encouraging” award in Volleyball. Aynelise was also a two-time State Qualifier in Cross Country! She plans to pursue a Pre-Med path in college. Aynelise enjoys reading, hiking, being a member of the SGA, Peer Mentoring at Haleyville High School, and shopping.
Aynelise is the daughter of Brad and Brandy Vickery.
