We would like to recognize Gavin Whaley as the Athlete of the Month for St. Bernard Preparatory School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Gavin is a Senior at St. Bernard where has played Varsity Basketball for 5 years and Varsity Baseball for 4 years. He was The Cullman Times 2017 All-Area Baseball Honorable Mention. In his spare time, he likes playing sports, fishing, wake boarding and riding see-doos.

Gavin is the son of Josh and Kim Whaley.

Joshua Ray - Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville

A big shout out to Joshua Ray, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville!

Joshua enjoys playing Football (#29) and Baseball (#14) for the Russellville High Tigers. He was awarded the Coaches Award in 2017. When not competing for the Tigers, he enjoys playing a variety of sports and video games as well as swimming.

After graduation, his plans include earning a Chemical Engineering degree from Auburn or Alabama.

Joshua is the son of Amy and Jerry Ray.

Congratulations, Joshua! We’ll see you under the stadium lights!

Ethan Corum - Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals

Introducing Ethan Corum, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals!

Ethan is a Sophomore at Lexington High where he competes in Basketball and Baseball for the Bears. He has received Lauderdale All-County Tournament Team-Basketball two years and All-County Team 2017. He was also selected Lexington High Basketball Most Improved Player-2018. In Baseball, Ethan plays pitcher, third, and shortstop.

Ethan says, “My future plans are to continue to work hard in baseball and play at the college level and to go into Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Physical Therapy.”

Ethan is the son of Buddy and Whitney Corum.

Josh is a recent graduate of Hanceville where he competed in Basketball and Baseball for the Bulldogs and where he was named All-Area in Basketball. His current plans are to continued his education by pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. (Great field of work!) In his free time, he likes to stay active and play sports.

Josh is the son of Josh and Debra Stanley.

Aiden is a multi-sport athlete for the Saints, competing in Baseball, Volleyball, and Bowling. In her free time, Aiden enjoys playing softball and baseball.

Aiden is the daughter of Angela Adcock.

Kevin plays multiple-sports for the Perry Central High Bulldogs, including Football, Baseball, and Soccer. He has been selected First Team All-District in Baseball two years and First Team All-District in Football. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports and just relaxing.  His future plans include pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine.
