Three cheers for Uriah Moore, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Winfield!

Uriah is a Senior and multi-sport athlete at Marion County High School where she competes in Cheer, Track, Softball, and Basketball. She has been named to All-County and All-Conference (NAC) for Track. She enjoys binge watching Grey’s Anatomy, Netflix, and horror movies, as well as hanging out with friends and family. She plans to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

Uriah is the daughter of Freda Allman and Chris Moore.

We are proud of you, Uriah, and wish you a great Senior year!

Emily competes in Cross Country and Track for the Marion County High School Red Raiders. She loves horses, crafts, and running track. She aspires to be an equine veterinarian.

Emily is the daughter of Kevin and Christine Webb.

Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Braden Pyron.

Congratulations to the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Braden Pyron! Braden is a sophomore, multi-sport athlete at Marion County High School. He has been a member of the varsity Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track teams for 4 years now and wears jersey #2, #5, and #25. During his 4 year athletic career, Braden has wracked up quite an impressive amount of awards:

Football: 2x All State Football, 2x All-Conference, 2x All-State 2x All-County

Basketball: NW Region All Tournament, All-County, 2x All Conference, Final Four

Baseball: 3x All-County Honorary Mention

Track: All-County track, 2x All-Conference, 2x All-Sectional, 2x All-State, and a State Championship.

Braden will graduate in the class of 2019 and has a 4.0 GPA. He is the son of Blaine and Valarie Pyron.

Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Garrett Cooper!

Congratulations to the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Garrett Cooper! Garrett is a senior athlete at Marion County High School. He is a member of the Track and Cross Country team and has ran on varsity for 6 years. Garrett has won the Track All-County, award, All-Section award, All-State Pole Vault, and 2nd and 3rd place in pole vault at the State Indoor track meet! After college, Garrett plans to attend the University of Alabama to study Architectural Engineering. He is the son of David and Joy Cooper.

Winfield Clinic athlete of the Month, Jake Gunter.

Congratulations to the Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Jake Gunter! Jake is a junior, multi-sport athlete at Marion County High School. He has played basketball (#2) for three years and football (#45) for one year. Jake has been to the 2012 1A Final 48 for basketball and the 2014 1A semi-finals in football. He has also received the 2013 Basketball Academic Award. After high school, Jake plans to attend a two year college degree to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. Jake is the son of Brent and Vickie Gunter. Good luck the rest of basketball season, Jake! Keep up the good work.

Winfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Jacob Robbins.

Congratulations to the Winfield Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Jacob Robbins. Jacob is a sophomore at Marion County High School and is a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams. He plans to attend the University of Alabama, South Alabama or Vanderbilt University after high school and major in Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. Good luck this season, Jacob!
