In February 2017, I came to Encore Rehabilitation for physical therapy on my right shoulder after a rotator cuff repair. In June 2018, I had shoulder replacement and I knew where I was going for physical therapy. My surgeon agreed and highly recommended Encore! The staff’s knowledge and caring shines in all areas of your therapy. I feel welcome when I enter the door. I’m always greeted with warm smiles! I feel the pain of therapy is bearable due to the staff’s caring attitudes. I know I’m in the hands of the best! It’s calming to have faith in the ones caring for you during your therapy. Robert Williams – “Physical Therapy really helps!”
When Robert Williams experienced a shoulder injury, he chose Encore Rehabilitation-Vernon for his physical therapy. Ed Walker- Patient of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Fayette
Ed recently had two shoulder surgeries, first the left shoulder and then the right. Ed chose Encore Rehabilitation-Fayette for his physical therapy. He says, “My wife had two hip replacements and had her physical therapy at Encore. She did so well and was really pleased. When I had my left shoulder surgery and did my physical therapy at Encore, Marla, Natalie, and Brittney couldn’t have been any nicer or helpful to me.”

Alice Korhonen – “I had lived in pain for years”
After hip surgery, Alice Korhonen asked her doctor for physical therapy. She says, “I wanted to make sure that I was healing properly and wasn’t doing anything that would hinder a full recovery. I had lived in pain for years and my physical activity had been so limited that I was so ready for relief and a normal life (if there is such a thing!)”
Alice had received treatment at Encore Rehabilitation-Fairhope last summer. This summer she used Encore Rehabilitation-Foley for physical therapy. “I was so pleased with the treatment and warm, friendly feeling in the Fairhope office, I knew Encore was a good place to be. The staff at the Encore Rehabilitation-Foley office were so nice and wanted to help in any way they could.”

Ethan Corum-Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals
Introducing Ethan Corum, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals!
Ethan is a Sophomore at Lexington High where he competes in Basketball and Baseball for the Bears. He has received Lauderdale All-County Tournament Team-Basketball two years and All-County Team 2017. He was also selected Lexington High Basketball Most Improved Player-2018. In Baseball, Ethan plays pitcher, third, and shortstop.
Ethan says, “My future plans are to continue to work hard in baseball and play at the college level and to go into Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Physical Therapy.”
Ethan is the son of Buddy and Whitney Corum.
