Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Jessie Dunavant is back home and excited!

Jessie says, “I’ve been a part of the Encore Rehabilitation Team for almost two years now. Recently, I’ve transitioned from Mobile to Sulligent, Alabama. My husband, Jerod Dunavant, and I are excited about returning home to northwest Alabama. He’s embracing his new role as Head Basketball Coach at Sulligent High School and I’m beyond excited to serve the communities of Lamar County both within the school system and at the outpatient clinic! Basketball standout Tanner Collins has been selected Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Vernon!

Tanner is a Junior at Sulligent High School where he plays Basketball (#12) for the Blue Devils. He has been named All-County and All-WAC in Basketball. Tanner is the son of Mike Collins and Cathy Collins.

Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Tyrek Stephens.

Congratulations to the Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Tyrek Stephens! Tyrek is a freshman, multi-sport, athlete at Sulligent High School. He is a member of the Blue Devils Basketball and Football teams and wears jersey #23 and #13 respectively. After high school, Tyrek wants to attend UCLA and become a Historian. He is the son of Tracie Stephens.

Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Collin Carruth.

Congratulations to the Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Collin Carruth! Collin is a Junior, multi-sport athlete at Sulligent High School. He plays football, baseball, and basketball for the Blue Devils and has been playing on their varsity teams for 4 years now. He wears jersey #70 in football, #14 in baseball, and #21 in basketball. His sports awards consist of Best Offensive Lineman and NMMC Player of the Week for football, and Defensive player of the Year for baseball. He has a 4.0 GPA and hopes to play college football while majoring in accounting. Collin is the son of Brent and Michelle Carruth.

Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Rebecca Moore.

Congratulations to Rebecca Moore who was chosen as the the Vernon Clinic Athlete of the Month! Rebecca is a multi-sport, sophomore athlete at Sulligent High School. She has played Varsity Basketball (#21) and Volleyball (#26) for two years now. Her sports awards consist of the 2014 Rebound award, 2014 Volleyball Most Improved, and she is a member of the 2014 Sweet Sixteen in Volleyball. After she graduates, her plans are to attend the University of Alabama and major in physical therapy. Rebecca is the daughter of Neil and Jennifer Moore.

Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Cole Dove.

Congratulations to the Vernon Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month, Cole Dove! Cole is a senior at Sulligent High School and a member of the Football team. His plans after graduation are to attend Bevill State and pursue a degree in Auto Mechanics. Cole is the son of Eric and Amanda Dove. Good luck the rest of this season Cole, keep up the good work!
