Multi-sport athlete Ayden Alexander has been selected Athlete of the Month for Cold Springs High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!

Ayden is a Junior who competes in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track for the Eagles. His has received several honors including Offensive Player-Varisty Football; JV-Football MVP Offensive Player Award and Team Captain; and MVP and Rookie of the Year-Varsity Baseball. He future plans are to pursue degrees in Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. He enjoys playing all sports, riding his ATV, and hanging out with his friends.

Ayden is the son of David and Leslie Alexander.

Emersyn Reid Celebrates National Prematurity Awareness Month

In observance of National Prematurity Awareness Month, Encore Pediatric Department of Cullman would like to honor our patients and families affected by preterm births!

Meet Emersyn! She was born at 24 weeks gestation and is currently 1 year old. She receives Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy Services with Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman. Emersyn loves her dancing Elmo toy, playing music on her iPad, her blankets and pacifier, and her dog, Thor.

Emersyn’s family says, “She is such a fighter! And we love all the therapists at Encore; they have been great with her!”

We are so proud of Emersyn! Happy National Prematurity Awareness Month to Emersyn and her family!

His hobbies include playing sports and watching movies. His future plans include pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy from The University of South Alabama.

Colby is the son of Pam Cox and Rodney Cox.

Ava Woods Celebrating National Prematurity Awareness Month

 

In observance of National Prematurity Awareness Month, Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman would like to honor our patients and families affected by preterm births!

Introducing Ava Woods! She was born at 25 weeks gestation but is now 4 years old. She receives Occupational and Speech Therapy Services at Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman. Ava loves to play ball, dance, cook in her kitchen, and sing!

Ava’s family says, “Ava has came a long way and we are so proud of her! Speech and Occupational Therapy has been the best thing for her, to help her come out of her little shell. The staff has been so wonderful and very helpful. We can’t thank them enough!”

Uriah is a Senior and multi-sport athlete at Marion County High School where she competes in Cheer, Track, Softball, and Basketball. She has been named to All-County and All-Conference (NAC) for Track. She enjoys binge watching Grey’s Anatomy, Netflix, and horror movies, as well as hanging out with friends and family. She plans to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

Uriah is the daughter of Freda Allman and Chris Moore.
