A big shoutout to Brodie Malcom, Athlete of the Month for Hanceville High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman! 

Brodie is a Junior at Hanceville High where he is a multi-sport athlete. He competes in Football, Basketball, and Track. He has been named All-County Basketball. He enjoys playing sports and plans to pursue a college degree.

Brodie is the son of Julie Malcom and the late Randy Malcom.

AHSAA 2019 State Cross Country Championships Start Times

AHSAA Cross Country Update

MONTGOMERY – Champions will be crowned in six divisions on Saturday as more than 2,000 runners converge on the Oakville Indian Mounds Park & Museum for the Alabama High School Athletic Association 64th State Cross Country Championships.

The championship 5K runs will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the Class 1A/2A girls’ race. Races are set to start about every 20 minutes with awards presentations at 10:15 a.m., 10:45, 11:15 and 12:30 p.m. The final race of the day is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. when the Class 5A boys leave the starting line. State champs and runners-up will receive trophies and the top 15 finishers in each race will receive individual medals.
Tickets for the championships are $10 per person (cash only) and parking is $5 per vehicle. No pets or bicycles are allowed in the park on race day. The Oakville Indian Mounds Park & Education Center is located at 1219 County Road 187 in Danville.
