Track and field athlete Aleksander Kirilov is the Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-William Carey!
Aleksander is a Sophomore at William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he is pursuing a career in Accounting. He has placed second in 100 m at the Juniors Bulgarian National Championship and third place in 100 m at the international tournament Tz.Hristova. Some of his favorite things to do include lifting weights, eating unhealthy food, studying, and hanging out with friends.
Aleksander is the son of Kameliya Kirilova and Kiril Kirilov.

According to a press release from Gatorade, the 6-foot, 165-pound junior defender led the Admirals to a 18-4-3 record and the Class 6A state championship this past season. LeBlanc was the anchor of a defense that notched 12 shutouts and allowed just one goal in four postseason games. He was a First Team All-State selection and a Coast Coaches All-Star Team honoree.
Fellow Admiral Jarred Arde won the same honor for 2009-10.

Medical Park Rehab and Pascagoula Rehab Services accept the Lemon Face Challenge from Singing River Health Systems!
The Lemon Face Challenge is to help spread awareness for DIPG. DIPG is Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma and it is a rare and deadly pediatric brain cancer. DIPG has a survival rate of less than one per cent, and usually affects children between the ages of four and eleven. This disease has affected several children in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area.
DIPG affects the pons portion of the brainstem, rendering nervous system function impossible. Symptoms include double vision, inability to close the eyelids completely, dropping one side of the face, and difficulty chewing, swallowing, and breathing.
