The Adult Neuroscience Center (Ocean Springs, Mississippi) held its Annual Support Group Christmas Party on Friday, December 7th for members of the support groups offered at our clinic. These groups include the Parkinson’s Disease Support Group, the Aphasia & Communication Support Group, and the Movement Disorder Exercise Group. There was plenty of Christmas cheer to share! Thank you to everyone who made this year’s party so much fun!

Introducing Logan Guthery, the Athlete of the Month for Hanceville High School and Encore Rehabilitation-Cullman!
Logan is a Sophomore and member of the Football team at Hanceville High. He plans to continue playing Football in college while pursuing a degree in Veterinarian Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and football.
Logan is the son of Kenneth Guthery and Jessica Guthery.

Thelma Hubbard came to Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville for treatment following a stroke. Why did she chose Encore? She says, ” First of all, the clinic is in Russellville but also the people are nice and they care about us.”

Congratulations to Volleyball athlete Sydney Dunkin, Athlete of the Month for Holly Pond High School and Encore Rehabilitation!
Sydney excels in Volleyball and has been named 2017 All-County and 2018 All-Area. She will continue her education at Wallace State after graduation. She enjoys hunting with her dad, painting, and hanging out with friends.
Congratulations to Luke Barnwell, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville!
Luke is a Sophomore who competes in Football, Basketball, and Baseball for the Bobcats and has been named Alfa Player of the Week. His interests outside of sports include being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. After high school, he plans to pursue a degree in the medical field.
Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City is pleased to introduce our Clinical Director Julia Krahm, DPT, Cert. DN!
Julia received her bachelor’s degree from Furman University and her Masters of Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville. She then achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the American International College. Julia’s focus is primarily in Orthopedics and sports injuries. In addition to traditional exercises, she uses a variety of manual techniques and has a specialty Certification in Dry Needling.
Julia grew up in Marietta, Georgia but spent some time shivering in Massachusetts before she decided to head back South and now lives in Auburn, Alabama.
We are pleased to have Julia at Encore Rehabilitation-Phenix City!

Thomas is Sophomore at Bevil State where he plays Baseball for the Bears. He plans to transfer to the University of South Alabama and pursue a degree in Biology. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Thomas is the son of Jesse James and Angela Winfield.
