“Why did I become an Athletic Trainer? I initially started the Athletic Training program at Troy University because I wanted to apply for a Physical Therapy program later. After a year in the program, I enjoyed working with collegiate athletes so much that I decided to get my master’s degree. This led to a graduate assistantship at Mississippi State University and a job working with the Bulldog Volleyball team. Those two years at State are some of my most enjoyable years as an Athletic Trainer. 

“I have always felt that the best part of being an Athletic Trainer is being able to work with the most dedicated group of people on Earth. To be able to assist someone who is willing to work harder than most is very satisfying.
