Congratulations to Nia White, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Pike Road!

Nia is a Senior at Pike Road High School where she competes in Track and Field for the Patriots. She has been awarded State Runner-up 100m, State Long Jump 3^rd place, and All-Metro Girls Honorable Mention. She plans to attend The University of Alabama and then medical school at The University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Nia is the daughter of Catrina and Conrad Pringle.

Meet Physical Therapist Sy Banks

Welcome to Sy Bank, PT, DPT, to Encore Rehabilitation-Montgomery East! #EncoreRehab

Encore Rehabilitation-Montgomery East would like to introduce you to Sy Banks, PT, DPT!

Sy is a Montgomery native and graduate from Alabama State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Faulkner University. Sy has been a practicing clinician for two years and has a special interest in working with athletes and active individuals.

Sy and his wife Lora-Emily have two children. He and his family enjoy spending time outside together, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.

Encore Rehabilitation Athens and Hartselle would like to introduce you to Heather Breedlove, OTR, Cert. DN!

Heather obtained her Occupational Therapy degree from The University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has been a practicing clinician for 22 years and has been with Encore Rehabilitation for 12 years. Heather is the Assistant Clinical Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Athens. She currently practices in Athens and Hartselle treating a variety of orthopedic injuries and diagnoses and neurological disorders, as well as performing ergonomic assessments and screens for industries, both onsite and in the clinic. Heather’s Certification in Dry Needling is for the upper extremity.

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and participating in activities with her church.

Jackson Breedlove is Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Decatur

We are pleased to announce Jackson Breedlove as Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Decatur!

Jackson is a multi-sport athlete at Austin High School. He competes in Basketball (#4) and Baseball (#8) for the Black Bears and has been selected Team Captain. After graduation this year, he plans to pursue a master’s degree in Divinity. His personal interest include church activities and sports.

Jackson is the son of Lance and Heather Breedlove.

Connie is Freshman and Basketball Athlete at Sneed State Community College. A recent graduate of Huffman High School, she was selected All-Tournament and All-Regional during her time with the Vikings. In her personal time, she enjoys basketball, eating good food, and spending time with friends. Connie is pursuing a degree as a Physical Therapist.

Connie is the daughter of Fransnon Stewart and Robert Clarke.

Abe Abrams is playing his guitar and fishing again after Physical Therapy at Encore Rehabilitation-Columbiana #EncoreRehab

Abe Abrams came to Encore Rehabilitation-Columbiana for physical therapy on his shoulder after surgery. He had some movement and could lift lightweight objects, however, his pain level was high.

After several weeks of rehab, Mr. Abrams is greatly improved! In fact, he is now able to go fishing and can play his guitar! He says, “I would recommend Encore Rehabilitation. The staff is very good and the location is convenient, close to home.”

The Camp was held June 10-21, 2019 on the beautiful Trails of Saint Bernard in Cullman, Alabama. An average of 65-70 area junior high and high school athletes attended each day.
