Ocean Springs Neurological Vestibular Rehab accepts the Lemon Face Challenge from Singing River Health Systems!
The Lemon Face Challenge is to help spread awareness for DIPG. DIPG is Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma and it is a rare and deadly pediatric brain cancer. DIPG has a survival rate of less than one per cent, and usually affects children between the ages of four and eleven. This disease has affected several children in the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Lemon Face Challenge was started by 11-year-old Aubreigh Nicholas, who was diagnosed with DIPG in September. Her charity, Aubreigh’s Army, has already raised more than $48,000 at the time of this writing.
