Introducing Ethan Corum, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals!

Ethan is a Sophomore at Lexington High where he competes in Basketball and Baseball for the Bears. He has received Lauderdale All-County Tournament Team-Basketball two years and All-County Team 2017. He was also selected Lexington High Basketball Most Improved Player-2018. In Baseball, Ethan plays pitcher, third, and shortstop.

Ethan says, “My future plans are to continue to work hard in baseball and play at the college level and to go into Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Physical Therapy.”

Ethan is the son of Buddy and Whitney Corum.

One of our favorite events of the summer is participating in the ASIA Summer Conference in Sandestin, Florida! We enjoyed answering questions about our workers’ comp rehabilitation services and meeting new people. Visitors to our booth enjoyed ice cream from the Encore Rehabilitation Ice Cream Truck! And Elvis was in the building making photos with a few lucky people! And in all, another great conference!

Meet Keena Edwards, Physical Therapist Assistant at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika

Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika is proud to introduce you to Physical Therapist Assistant Keena Edwards, LPTA, CSCS!

Keena is originally from Loachapoka, Alabama. She received her Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from South University, Montgomery, Alabama and holds a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Auburn University. Keena is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Keena and her husband, Anthony, have one daughter. In her spare time, Keena enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying active! Her interest in physical therapy began when she became injured while playing sports. Now physical therapy is her passion.

Keena says, “I love my job and am blessed with the privilege of helping my patients reach and achieve the physical goals they set for themselves.”

Madeline Malone- Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabiltiation-Muscle Shoals

Congratulations to Madeline Malone! She has been selected Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Muscle Shoals!

Madeline is a Freshman competing in Volleyball and Softball for Muscle Shoals High School. She is looking forward to a great year with the Trojans! After high school, she plans to attend the University of Alabama and pursue a degree in Sports Medicine.
