Meet Keena Edwards, Physical Therapist Assistant at Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika
Encore Rehabilitation-Opelika is proud to introduce you to Physical Therapist Assistant Keena Edwards, LPTA, CSCS!
Keena is originally from Loachapoka, Alabama. She received her Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from South University, Montgomery, Alabama and holds a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Auburn University. Keena is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Keena and her husband, Anthony, have one daughter. In her spare time, Keena enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying active! Her interest in physical therapy began when she became injured while playing sports. Now physical therapy is her passion.
Keena says, “I love my job and am blessed with the privilege of helping my patients reach and achieve the physical goals they set for themselves.”

Madison Murray – Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville
Announcing Madison Murray, Athlete of the Month for Encore Rehabilitation-Russellville!
This Golden Tiger competes in Basketball and Softball for Russellville High School. Madison has been named All-County two times, Best Defensive Player-Softball, and Top Recruit 16U-Catcher. In her spare time, she likes to play sports.
Madison is the daughter of Kathryn Murray and Micheal Murray.
Congratulations, Madison! Have a great Junior year!

Encore Rehabilitation Accounting Team – Perry Baker; Johnny Maplesden; Phillip Whaley; and Thomas Holt
Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. would like to introduce you to our Accounting Team! Perry, Thomas, Phillip, and Johnny help to keep our operations running smoothly and we are thankful for their commitment and professionalism. From producing financial statements to maintaining balance sheets, as well as administering payroll and managing equipment inventory, we could not ask for a finer Accounting Team. Perry is a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has been with Encore Rehabilitation for almost six years. He enjoys playing tennis and is the father of two children.
Johnny Maplesden – Staff Accountant (Second from left)
Johnny graduated from Athens State College Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He has just recently joined the team at Encore. Johnny is a running enthusiast and tennis player.
Philip Whaley – Staff Account (Third from left)
Philip earned his Master’s in Accounting from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has worked with Encore for three years. Philip is a movie and sci-fi aficionado.
Thomas Holt – Staff Accountant (Far right)
Thomas is graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He has been with Encore for seven years. In his spare time, he enjoys bowling, playing tennis, and traveling.
